If you asked 20 separate Christians “What is the gospel,” you’d likely get 25 different answers.
If you asked the same question in a group of 20 Christians, they might start settling on a definition as the answers progressed. Depending on the faith tradition, you might end up with something like “Jesus died for our sins,” or “We are saved by grace through faith.”
