Harvard and Georgetown Universities has been given $20m each "to teach about the Islamic world to the United States." Prince Alwaleed bin Talal made no bones about why he was giving the money, and the universities involved made no bones about accepting it. We wonder what would happen if the same two universities were offered $20m each to teach what Jesus actually taught his followers to do and be. There is very little understanding of that in the world today, even among those who claim to be Christians, but we suspect that either it would not be accepted or there would be a major furor created by them doing so. -- John Clayton
