Good morning from Dyffryn Ardudwy!

No, that isn’t a typo, or secret code. It’s Welsh—one of the ancient languages of the British Isles, before the invasions by the Romans, Angles, Saxons, Jutes, Danes, and Normans led to the evolution of modern English.

The fair village of Dyffryn Ardudwy lies in the county of Gwynedd, in the scenic country of Cymru (Wales). We’re spending a few days here in Snowdonia National Park with my mother-in-law and one of our daughters. (And Darcy, our Mountain Dog.)

This weekend I head back to England for the next session of AIM UK-I. See the promo below. Later next week I head to Istanbul (pre-tour before the Antioch Seminar, with attendees from Jamaica, Jordan, South Africa, Estonia, Philippines, India, Colombia, Singapore, the US, and the UK). Then the AIM US (Atlanta) course resumes. Promo also below.

Today’s offerings:

  • Conversation 17: Interview with Nadine Templer (Kathmandu, Nepal)
  • How to Care for a Loved One with Depression (Kathryn Butler)
  • Two AIM teaching programs open this month (US and UK)!
  • More cool quotes, around the subject of thinking

Positive Perspectives on Politics, Poverty, Parenting, & Church People—with Nadine Templer

Yet after days turned into weeks and the fog didn’t lift, I couldn’t ignore the truth.  KEEP READING

Great Quotes

  • A great many people think they are thinking when they are only rearranging their prejudices. – William James (1842-1910)
  • 5% of people really think, 10% think they think, and the remainder would rather die than think. It’s the 5% who make the difference in the world.
  • To be a good speaker in public, you must be a good thinker in private.
  • Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. – Albert Einstein
