As you monitor developments immediately outside the "brother" circle, here's a suggestion in case you haven't yet encountered it--the "Gospel in Our Culture Network," (http://www.gocn.org) an interdenominational group of scholars which has conducted some studies on missional modes of church funded by the Lilly foundation, has made some interesting conclusions, including that:
1. Baptism has been under-emphasized.
2. Denominationalismis not a very healthy foundation for missional churches.
3. The Church of Christ (based on their study of Abilene Christian University as representative of their "denomination") has as good a shot as any at evangelizing the world (and my tweak on this would be that this is perhaps even more true of the "discipling" churches by this name).
