What did the sacrifice of the Red Heifer in Numbers 19 really mean? Is there some deeper meaning that is eluding me?
There are a number of popular and not so well-known theories about the site of the crucifixion of Jesus. I wrote a paper, "The Red Heifer Sacrifice and the Crucifixion,'" after my first visit to Israel in 1997.
The paper answers the question above and states my reasons for believing that the Mount of Olives may have been the true site of the death of Jesus.
