In Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus celebrates the Passover with his disciples but in John, they are clamoring for the body to be taken down before the beginning of Passover. How do we explain this?
The celebration around Passover time really lasts eight days, and includes the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Exodus 12:5-6 reads, "The Lord's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. On the fifteenth day of that month the Lord's Feast of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast."
In other words, Thursday night the Disciples ate the Passover meal, yet the main part of the festival time started the day following. Moreover, Jesus was crucified on a Friday; the Sabbath began several hours after his death, and Jewish law forbade leaving a corpse on a tree after sunset (Deuteronomy 21:22-23).
While there are other ways to address your question, this seems to me to be the simplest avenue of approach.
