I have always asked my self why Joseph, the husband of Mary and father of Jesus, is not mentioned by Jesus. There do not seem to be any verses about him in the New Testament after Jesus' childhood. Did he die before Jesus was baptized? -- Francisco Bedoya (Panamá)
I believe you are right. It appears that Joseph died before his son. It is a fair inference that Joseph was no longer living by 30 AD.
