Who can baptize the person who believes in Christ and is prepared to accepted Jesus as his Saviour? Is it necessary to have a priest do the baptism? -- Madhu
No, anyone can baptize, as I understand the New Testament; there are no restrictions. Moreover, priests are found in Old Testament Judaism, not in New Testament Christianity. Now all are "priests" (1 Peter 2:9-10; Revelation 1:6, 5:10).
