What does the Bible say about wisdom? Where should I go in order to study out this theme?
Let me suggest you approach the subject by studying wisdom and its opposite--foolishness. (Exploring opposites is often a very helpful way to learn.)
You might want to begin by studying two Psalms: 49 and 94. Wisdom is mentioned frequently in the Wisdom Literature proper (Proverbs: 1-3, 8, 10-21, 23-24, 26, 28-30; Ecclesiastes: 1-2, 4-7, 9-10). In the Prophets, look for more on wisdom (Isaiah 19, 44; Jeremiah 10, 50). In the New Testament, Jesus has much to say on the subject (especially in Matthew 7 and 25), as does Paul (Romans 1; 1 Corinthians 1-4; 2 Corinthians 11; and Ephesians 5).
But let your search not be merely an intellectual exercise; be prepared to follow the sweet voice of wisdom. For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Job 28:28; Psalm 111:10; Proverbs 1:7, 2:5, 9:10, 15:33).
