I recently wrote a paper on my blog entitled "What is Salvation?" Yet I felt that the baptism discussions were a little too pointed, too focused on baptism exclusively rather than taking a look at salvation as a whole. So I undertook a broader study on salvation. My thoughts are recorded on my blog here. If you the time to read it, I would love your thoughts on my article. Am I off base? Have I left anything out? -- Doug Schaefer
I think your article is well balanced. Salvation in the Bible is past, present, and future; it is salvation from sin and the world and from ourselves, as well as salvation from judgment and hell. It is considerably broader than forgiveness of sins alone. Great job! I hope others too will take a look at what you have written.
