I have heard numerous thoughts about when the book of Revelation was written. It seems the opinions range from 70-95/6 AD. What would be your take on this? -- Bob Bertalot (Portland, Oregon)

There are three positions.

* One is that it was written in the time of Nero (54-68 AD).
* The next is that it was written late in the time of Domitian (81-96 AD).
* The third -- and this is my position -- is that Revelation was authored during Vespasian's reign (69-79 AD). I base this on Revelation 17.
