Could you please define/explain what things... actions... thoughts... mindsets, etc... you're thinking of when you refer to "clergy/laity"? -- Joel Suggs (Cincinnati)
I refer to clergy as professional church workers, thought to be closer to God, expected to live saintly lives, to be players (as opposed to spectators, the church, the people in the pews).
Yet as someone said, "The ground is level at the foot of the cross." We are all "in the ministry" (2 Corinthians 5), and we are all priests (1 Peter 2)...
