Q&A 1010 – To break up or stay together?

I need your advice on something. I am dating and planning to get married this year, but found out that my and my fiancée's genotypes are AS. We were advised not to go ahead with the marriage because of the risk involved -- if we want to have our own children in future. Sure, I want to have my own kids in future, but I don't want to break up with my fiancée. What is your counsel?

The two of you need to be 100% in agreement about this. If you are not of one mind, such a difference could cause severe strain in a marriage--do not underestimate it. But as long as you both agree and see eye to eye, I think any decision, breaking up or staying together, is the right one.
