What is your conviction or opinion about e-mails that say, "Send this to ten people and your wish will come true, or something good will happen to you, etc.."? I receive a lot of them from my worldly co-workers. However, I have also been receiving some from disciples, even ones who are in leadership. My feeling is that they promote ungodliness, worldliness and a false hope that has nothing to do with what our hope is in Jesus Christ. -- Lorie Pukenis
I agree with you. You are absolutely right! These emails are utter nonsense.
I would stand firm against them and, honestly, if it continues, speak with the elders of your church about this. It is amazing how many people, believers included, have bought into prosperity theology and its various facets.
