Is modern magic equivalent to ancient sorcery? I'm curious to know if magicians today are tapping on the power of demons? I know magic is just tricks, but I got a hunch that some might just be tapping some spiritual force. Do magicians sell their soul in return for magical power? Is modern magic equivalent to ancient sorcery as mention in the Bible? When we watch magic shows, are we in a way supporting the devil?
Very interesting question. I don’t think so – tricks are tricks… So I don’t think we're supporting the devil by watching magic shows.... Unless of course there is a religious, cultic, evil element in the presentation.
Anyway, I myself do a few card tricks. Sometimes people are very impressed. But this is definitely not black magic (Satanic), or even white magic. It's just a trick.
