Exploring your websites, I have realized that although I've been a disciple for almost 20 years, I really don't know how to study my Bible. I wanted to ask if you might share briefly your approach. Do you start with text, then go to the original language, then to a commentary? How do you do it? Do you approach things topically or by book? I would really like to and need to deepen my Bible study tremendously and would be grateful if you could share some approaches or insights.
If you want to learn the method, you will need to “go to school.” I train people in biblical interpretation through AIM, more than the (quite limited) time I'm able to devote to email correspondence. Good starting points are the DVD Series which cover a lot of great material, and are a great investment. Thanks for your email.
