If Jesus is real, why are there so many different churches?
Because there are many different Jesuses (2 Cor 11:4)! The only way to know we are following the real Jesus is to spend time in the Bible (focus on the gospels) and to do what he says (Matt 7:24-27).
We all need to be diligent students of Scripture. And church leaders—unusually good ones! (See the piece on being pastor-theologians.)
