Did you miiss it? It’s still available. To watch the recording, CLICK HERE (Remember to log in to the website first. If you’re not a member, you can subscribe at the homepage.)

For information about Dr Shelly’s book on the topic, please refer to recent newsletters, or click HERE to order.

And if you like our webinar, there's another on 26 October 2024. The guest speaker is Prof. Denis Lamoureux of the University of Alberta. The topic:  "Beyond the Creation & Evolution Debate.” Details in upcoming newsletters.

BRINGING THE BIBLE TO LIFE

Did you know that we have 120 fifteen-minute video sermons, from every book of the Bible? In addition, there’s a beefy series on the Sermon on the Mount (Matt 5-7).

iFaith Bible Study Materials

.
These easy-to-follow lessons were originally created for underground churches in Asia. They can be used for personal study. Just click on iFaith above. In a couple of months I will return to Asia—part of the iFaith ministry. Your prayers appreciated.

The iFaith videos also make for a practical series for a church or small group (watch the talk, then discuss).

The main iFaith series makes its way through the Bible chronologically, alternating between the NT documents (starting from the oldest) and the OT documents (ditto), until we “run out” of NT documents. Most books give rise to two sermons; all 66 books are explored.

So if you are looking for ideas for yourself, or for a small group or church gathering, consider iFaith.

COOL QUOTES

Thanks for the quotes several of you sent in this past week. Here are my favorites:

  • Where Christ is, there he always goes against the flow. — Luther
  • The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously. — Hubert H. Humphrey
  • When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the user. —unknown
  • Slow success builds character, fast success builds ego. — Ratan Tata

Please keep ‘em coming! If you find a cool quote, I’d love to add it to the collection. New quotes I will post on the 24th. Next week, expect (only) a single extended quotation—that has really made me think.

Q1-Q2 SUMMARY
Below is a bird’s eye view of the ministry in the first half of the year. Little of this would be possible without your support. For the Word version, which contains live links, please click here.

As always, we continue to solicit your prayers. Please ask the Lord to smile on our ministry in the second half of the year, for his glory. Thank you! —Douglas & Vicki
